SPONSOR The Books4Change Sweepstakes (the 'Sweepstakes') is sponsored by ForChangeEnterprises (the 'Sponsor'), legal address to be announced before the first drawing.
ELIGIBILITY Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, and the immediate family or household members of each are not eligible. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD Each Sweepstakes cycle begins on the date the first qualifying purchase is processed (Cycle Start) and ends upon the earlier of (a) receipt of one thousand (1,000) qualifying book purchases or (b) one (1) calendar year from the Cycle Start (the 'Entry Period').
HOW TO ENTER a. Purchase Method: For every qualifying book purchased through https://books4change.com during the Entry Period, purchaser will receive one hundred (100) entries into the current Sweepstakes cycle. Multiple purchases result in multiple sets of entries; there is no limit on the number of purchase entries per person. b. No‑Purchase Mail‑In Method: Hand‑print your full name, complete mailing address, phone number on a plain 3" × 5" card, place it in a self‑addressed stamped envelope (SASE), and mail to: Books4Change Sweepstakes AMOE, P.O. Box [TBD], City, State, ZIP. Each valid mail‑in request received during the Entry Period counts for one (1) entry. Limit one (1) mail‑in request per outer mailing envelope. Mail‑in entries must be postmarked by the last day of the Entry Period and received within five (5) business days thereafter. c. Entries by any other method will not be accepted. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of receipt.
RANDOM DRAWING; ODDS One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor (or its authorized agent) using an industry‑standard random number generator within seven (7) business days after the end of each Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE The winner will receive one (1) electronics bundle with an approximate retail value (ARV) of four thousand U.S. dollars (USD $4,000). Sponsor, at its sole discretion, may substitute any item in the bundle with another item of equal or greater value. Total ARV of all prizes per cycle: USD $4,000.
CHARITABLE DONATION In addition to the prize, Sponsor will donate five thousand U.S. dollars (USD $5,000) to a United States 501(c)(3) charitable organization suggested by the winner and approved by Sponsor. Religious charities are eligible. Political organizations are not eligible. Donation is made directly by Sponsor; funds are not awarded to the winner and are not considered winner income.
PROCEEDS DISCLOSURE Of gross proceeds generated during each Sweepstakes cycle, Sponsor allocates approximately sixty percent (60%) to cover prize procurement and fulfillment, fund the charitable donation, and pay administrative and operational expenses. Approximately forty percent (40%) of gross proceeds is applied to the winner’s prize. After all expenses, Sponsor anticipates retaining roughly ten percent (10%) of gross proceeds as net revenue to support its continuing mission.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION a. Purchase‑Entry Winners: Potential winner will be notified via the email address provided at purchase within seven (7) business days of the drawing and must respond within fourteen (14) calendar days to claim the prize. b. Mail‑In (AMOE) Winners: Potential winner will be notified via USPS first‑class mail to the address provided in the AMOE within seven (14) business days of the drawing and must respond within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of the notification letter. c. If a potential winner does not respond within the applicable timeframe, is found ineligible, or fails to complete required documentation, Sponsor may select an alternate winner in a random drawing from remaining eligible entries. Prizes will be shipped to verified winners at Sponsor’s expense.
TAXES All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 to any winner whose prize value is USD $600 or more.
GENERAL CONDITIONS By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual suspected of tampering with the entry process or violating the Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, damaged, or postage‑due mail or entries.
RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY By entering, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
GOVERNING LAW; DISPUTES All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising under these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and entrants hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

WINNER LIST AND RULES REQUEST For the name of the winner (first name, last initial, and city/state) or a copy of these Official Rules, mail a self‑addressed stamped envelope to: Books4Change Winner List or Rules Request, P.O. Box [TBD], City, State, ZIP. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the end of the applicable Sweepstakes cycle.
