How Are The Funds Distibuted?

60% of funds raised go to Books4Change for prize acquisition, charity donations, and business expenses. 40% goes to the winner in the form of the prize offered. 50% of gross funds still goes to the charity of the winners choice (once approved by Books4Change). The last 10% goes to Books4Change, for operational costs. We do this as a labor of love, to help children to get interested in reading and to help charities raise money.

How Does Books4Change Get Prizes?

That's simple. Books4Change pays retail for the prizes awarded. This means we pay for the prize and sales taxes associated with the prize.

How Does Books4Change Work?

When you purchase a book from us, you're entered automatically into the sweepstake with 100 entries per purchase. There's a maximum of 1000 purchases per sweepstake possible.

Are There Free Entries?

Yes. Anyone can enter for free. Please check our rules for details on how to enter for free.

What Prizes/ Substitutions Are Available?

Prizes are clearly listed. Substitutions shall be made at the sole discretion of Books4Change. If a substitutions is made, the substitution will have an equal or greater retail value of the original prize listed.

Ho Do I Choose The Charity That Receives The Donation?

When you win, you'll choose your favorite charity to receive the funds. The charity must be registered as a charity in the U.S. (Subject to approval). We have linked to a couple of our favorite sites that rate charities. Please feel free to use them for more help.

How Do I Know My Purchase Supports Charity?

Books4Change is committed to transparency and your trust. We provide updates on funds donated and the charities impacted on our website.

What Happens If I Buy Multiple Books?

Every purchase gives you 100 entries. If you buy 1 book, that gives you 100 entries. If you buy 3 books, that gives you 300 entries. If you buy 10 books that gives you 1000 entries, and so on.

What Types Of Books Are Available?

Currently, all of our books are for children. They are grouped by age ranges designed to inspire imagination, a love for reading, and a spirit of giving.

How Often Are Winners Chosen?

A winner is chosen after 1000 sales.At that time, another sweepstake is started immediately after the previous one closes.

How Are Winners Notified?

Winners are chosen at random and will be contacted via email with instructions on how to claim their prize and choose their charity of choice.

Is there A Limit To How Many Entries I Can Have?

No. There's no limit- each purchase gives you 100 entries, and each entry always has the same odds.

Is Books4Change Legal?

Yes, Books4Change complies with all relevant sweepstake regulations and ensures fair odds for every participant. In adition to offering great children's books for paid entry, we also have a free entry which can be done by reviewing the official rules.

What If I Don't Want A Prize And Just Want To Donate?

You may forfeit your entries by not responding to your winning notification within the given time period stated in the rules. At that time, another winner will be chosen. If you want to only donate, please check out our links to find a worthy charity and donate directly.

Remember, you can use these websites even if you don't win, in case you'd like to donate regardless.
